Everyone wants healing and deliverance, but how many will be able to maintain what they receive?
The question is why maintain? Because attacks will come that bring doubt, fear, challenges and temptation. Will you walk in the light of your testimony or go back to old ways and open doors?
When the Bible gives conditions to healing, it’s not because God doesn’t want to heal, it’s because those very conditions will help you maintain your breakthrough when attacks come in the form of doubt, fear, sin and more.
When doubt comes, are you going to keep your confession or nullify what God did?
The great men and women of faith in the Bible maintained what God gave them, and even received more, because they walked with God!
How To Maintain Your Healing/ Deliverance:
Seek God diligently! A life of faith!
Hebrews 11:6 AMP But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.
This means, relationship and not just about what God can do for you. True faith is trusting your God wholeheartedly, and that takes relationship - seeking Him diligently and this is why you maintain your healing.
Live a life of obedience to God:
Proverbs 4:20 AMP My son, pay attention to my words and be willing to learn; Open your ears to my sayings. We must be teachable, willing to be corrected by the Holy Spirit. This is maintaining your deliverance. Our obedience is protection!
Luke 11:28 AMP But He said, “On the contrary, blessed (happy, favored by God) are those who hear the word of God and continually observe it.”
Confess you sin / deal with it:
James 5:16 AMP Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].
There has to be a change when we repent and deal with sin. Then healing and deliverance remains!
That is how you’ll maintain your breakthrough no matter what!
