These are sad days. We are witnessing horrendous events in our country. But let us not turn a blind eye. We are called to be peacemakers. South Africans are known to be forgiving people and to be peacemakers. The Word says that the peacemakers will be blessed.
Matthew 5:9 "Blessed (spiritually calm with life-joy in God's favor) are the makers and maintainers of peace, for they will (express His character and) be called the sons of God."
What is happening in this time, is a loss to us all. What I contribute to my country, I do for generations to come.
As we build the mountain of the Lord on the earth which shall be established through prayer, effort and our conduct- Remember, we are promised it shall be exalted - "He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples..." (Isaiah 2:1-5).
As I add peace, love on this earth, I’m adding my faith to the virtue that I believe in, the glorious manifestation of God’s goodness.
Whatever I build, is for generations to come! Our children and grandchildren! Yes, the country is crippled economically because of the looting and the pandemic. But, let us search ourselves, check ourselves. Is this worth it?
Fellow citizens, just like Paul said in Ephesians 2:19, we are the household of God - "You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of His household"
I don’t envy to live anywhere else! This is our beautiful country! Let us build it, let us protect it!
Let us speak out when wrong is going on. Our children and our children’s children must benefit from the wealth of this beautiful country. Let us be the first ones to bless our South Africa!
We can’t cry out to God to bless, but then we are killing and destroying it. Let us build and protect. May God bless you all!
